Genealogy Day
at Plainfield-GuilfordTownship Public Library
Enjoy a free day-long workshop on September 27, 2014 featuring Dr. John Philip Colletta.The day will include two morning sessions and two afternoon sessions, with lunch on your own. We know you will enjoy the engaging, entertaining and knowledgeable genealogy presentation by Dr. Colletta. Colletta teaches how to reconstruct a family’s past from scraps of information found in old written records, maps, newspapers, photographs, tombstones and heirlooms.
Dr. John Philip Colletta The detective work can be challenging and fun.In addition, Colletta will help participants learn about ancestors as men and women with personalities, character traits, motives, aspirations, joys and disappointments. John will use illustrated presentations which include engaging case studies and real life examples to show how to explore the world of our forebears and write an account of their lives.
Library opens - 9:00 a.m.: Registration - 9:15 a.m.: Sessions begin - 9:30 a.m.; Sessions end - 4:00 p.m.
