Do you need help doing court house research? Does cemetery research creep you out? This workshop is for you!
The records in a court house were not actually created to provide genealogical data. However, an understanding of the how and why of the structure of the court records can lead you to a wealth of family history information. This program explains many types of court records, where you can find them, and what is available to you.
Genealogist, Betty L. Warren (nee Williams) has been doing genealogy for almost 40 years. She has recently retired from the Indiana State Library in the Genealogy Department. Warren completed her Professional Genealogist Certification Course in 1990. She is a member of dozens of genealogy organizations and remains active in the genealogy world. Warren also is the owner/president of Be It Remembered..., a genealogy research business.
