Landmark Look:     The Deming

Friday, October 2, 2015 - 5 to 7 p.m.

615 Cherry St., Terre Haute, Indiana

Our Landmark Look highlights The Deming -- built in 1914 as a grand hotel, the last one remaining in downtown Terre Haute. The Deming debuts in its new incarnation as apartments, with tired 1970s alterations banished. The original public spaces and amenities sport a cool modern vibe in a historic Neoclassical setting.

The Landmark Look runs 5-7 p.m. and includes the lobby, fitness center and retail spaces in The Deming. Arts Illiana will stage a grand reopening of its upgraded office and gallery in the building from 7-9 p.m., immediately following the Landmark Look.

The Landmark Look at the Deming, staged with support from Core Redevelopment, is free but an RSVP is required at www.deminglook.eventbrite.com or call 317-822-7923.
