There will be a free genealogy and local history workshop at the Rockville Public Library, 106 North Market Street, Rockville, Indiana on Thursday, November 5th at 5:30 p.m. The library’s Parke County related resources include: microfilmed newspapers from 1853 to present and census, veterans’ service records, family histories, birth and death information, marriage records, SAR/DAR files, plat maps and many miscellaneous items.
Library staff and the Parke County Historian will be available to assist those interested in utilizing Rockville Public Library’s resources and learning more about how to research family history.
