Join the VCPL Special Collections department as they congratulate local historian, author, and columnist Dorothy Jerse on the release of her seventh local history book, titled On This Day in Terre Haute History. In 2014, Dorothy was invited by The History Press in Charleston, South Carolina to write a book comprised of local news stories for each day of the year -- from 1800 to 2013. She will share her experience in meeting the challenge of this new format, and she may even share some interesting tidbits from local history. Refreshments will be provided.
