· Discharged: Researching Civil War Veterans After the War1 to 3 p.m. After the Civil War, soldiers returned home and tried to re-create their earlier lives. However, they did not stop recreating records based on their service. The post-Civil War era is a treasure trove of records and resources for family historians. Learn how to find and use these records to discover more about your Civil War ancestors and their families. This class is eligible for 2 general LEUs.
Both classes are taught by Amy Johnson Crow, MLIS, CG, is a writer, editor, researcher and lecturer. She is the genealogical content manager for Archives.com. Amy is a former editor of Ohio Civil War Genealogy Journal and is active in the Indiana Genealogical Society.
