"Making Sense of DNA: How it Can Assist Genealogical Research."

Ken Nowlan is a retired US Air Force veteran, who served his country for 30 years as an operational intelligence analyst, supervisor and manager.  During that active service, he held ten different ranks, both enlisted and commissioned.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anatomy & Physiology from Indiana University, a Graduate Certificate of Study in International Relations from Creighton University, and a Master’s Degree in Middle East Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.  He is a member of many genealogically related organizations, including the Indiana Historical Society, the Indiana Genealogical Society and the Indiana Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists.  He is also the current Project Administrator for the Nolan DNA Project at Family Tree DNA.
