"Rest in Peace: Archaeology and Cemetery Relocations"

Tuesday, September 24th at 7 p.m.
Sullivan County Public Library
100 S. Crowder St., Sullivan IN.

Rest in Peace: Archaeology and Cemetery Relocations" will be presented Tuesday, September 24th at 7 p.m. in the Sullivan County Public Library, 100 S. Crowder St., Sullivan IN.

Alexandra Bybee, RPA Principal Investigator, Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc., Lexington KY, will present a power point program about the services of Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. They identify cemetery locations and accurate accounts of graves through archaelogical and geophysical surveys and archival research. An analysis of human remains, artifacts, coffin hardware, clothing and personal effects from excavated graves is documented throughout the process. Relocation of graves has become necessary due to Coal Mining, Urban Sprawl, Interstate Highways, etc.

This should be an interesting program and

open to the public!
