Heading out for a genealogy research trip without some serious planning doesn’t make sense. It can lead to a nonproductive trip and total frustration. Hear tips on how to plan, things to think about and how to be ready for research upon arrival at your destination, no matter where your going.

Ann Wells is a professional genealogist who has been researching for more than 30 years. She is an active member of a number of genealogical societies and current president of McHenry County Illinois Genealogical Society. Ann was born in England, raised in California, and has resided in the Chicago area for the last 25 years. Teaching genealogy is as much of a passion as doing genealogical research.
