Publicity Committee

This committee has the responsibility to promote and distribute information to the public in all communicative formats that promote the WVGS.   The members obtain information from the Program Committee and Education Committee about upcoming WVGS programs and events, as well as bios and photos of the Speaker and write press releases for the media.  They are involved in designing other publicity materials as required. This committee sends press releases to local newspapers and TV stations of the upcoming WVGS programs and events (usually accomplished by email) and makes occasional appearances on local TV News broadcasts if the opportunity is available.  

New members are needed.
